Flamingo Math Matrix
Educators are our most powerful catalyst for change when it comes to enhancing math literacy. It is critical that all mathematics teachers are adequately prepared and supported to teach all students, particularly our most underserved populations.
In partnership with Microsoft, the Lastinger Center is building the Math Matrix, an online professional development system for middle and secondary math educators. This competency-based program is designed to build content and instructional knowledge of foundational math concepts. Educators will have the opportunity to apply these strategies and submit practicum activities as evidence of their learning for personalized review and feedback.
